Springwell Senior Living is a community offering assisted living, independent living and memory care services for seniors in the Baltimore area.

The Problem

Springwell competes for residents with many corporate-owned senior living chains in the Baltimore area. It needed to increase its brand recognition and set itself apart from the competition to secure residents for its new 99-unit luxury independent living building, The Homestead.

Our Solution

Clapp 360 Communications worked closely with Springwell leaders to develop messaging to guide a PR and marketing effort that set apart Springwell from other area communities. Messaging positioned The Homestead as a luxury residence located on 15 acres of park-like land, with access to varying levels of care. It promoted the fact that Springwell is unique among senior living facilities in that it does not require a large buy-in—its residents rent their apartments, leaving their nest eggs in their own hands.

Our Results

Clapp 360 Communications planned events, created and placed billboards, developed radio and print advertising, an email campaign, social media and other digital marketing efforts to promote The Homestead and raise the profile of Springwell and its leaders. We planned a grand opening for The Homestead attended by many local officials and covered extensively in the media. Springwell is on target to reach its occupancy goals for its new facility.
